About the pattern
The scarf is crocheted from the middle outwards in a combination of single crochets and chain stitches (moss stitch), where ch1 is made between each sc, so that the sc can be crocheted around the ch-space from the previous row.
After each row, ch1 and turn. Ch1 does not count as the first stitch on the row.
